OUR HISTORY

We are a family and we serve families in the community

Pastor's D. Jerome and Pastor Sonya Davis

Pastor Davis met Bishop Spencer Jones in Hampton, VA while on a fast. Bishop Jones paid for a plane ticket to Chicago, IL where Pastor Davis worked on staff as an intern and attended Moody Bible Institute. While in Chicago Pastor Davis drove the van, taught Sunday School, sang on the praise team and helped with the evangelistic crusades where they assisted struggling churches. Pastor Davis traveled as an Evangelist and eventually became lead Pastor of Jubilee Christian Center A/G in Richland, GA. Later Pastor Davis eventually relocated to Atlanta, GA and worked at the Atlanta Dream Center A/G under Pastor Paul Palmer. Pastor Davis started attending Beulah Heights University and worked as a teacher at Teen Challenge in Lithonia, GA under Pastor Tim Newbon.

In 2007, Pastor Davis met Pastor Sonya Davis and in 2009 they were married and thereafter,  pastoring a church in Statesville, NC. After a few years the Davis family made a decision to move back to Raleigh, NC.  Pastor Davis begin seeking God about next steps and got a call from Tina Knowles who was the secretary of Superintendent Rick Ross of the Assemblies of God. Dr Ross paid for Pastor Davis to attend a Pastors Conference in Chicago, IL. where he met Bishop Walter Harvey who instructed him on how to get recredentialed in the Assemblies of God.

In September 2020, God placed it on the heart of Pastor Davis to start a Bible Study in his home. Pastor Davis and Pastor Sonya agreed to move forward and the Bible Study began to grow. Unfortunately, Covid 19 began to spread throughout the world but we remained faithful to the call of God. We continued having services online and trusted that God would finish what He had started. After acquiring credentials with the A/G Pastor D. Jerome and Co-Pastor Sonya Davis were invited to attend a Church Multiplication Network Conference in Richmond, VA.

The weekend after the conference,  Pastor D. Jerome began looking for a building and found a property for lease that was owned by Dr. Lane & Associates. Dr. Lane and his wife were the first to sow a seed by giving a discount on the rent with utilities included. God began making provision by tugging on the hearts of many individuals to give in support of KCC Ministries.

In August of 2021 in the midst of the pandemic, God used KCC to help others as they grew in faith, grace and favor. In August of 2023 KCC Ministries transitioned to lease a church building in Lillington, NC where they now hold services and minister bringing the good news of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to a community looking for change.
